| Sri Kaalikambal Educational Trust which was established in 1995 by Mr. M. Udayakumar a well known public figure, respected for his social outlook, integrity and sincerity, being the founder and Managing Trustee of the Trust. At first Sri Kaalikambal Industrial Training Institute was started for the development of economically backward students in the suburbs of Chennai. Then Sri Kaalikambal Teacher Training Institute was started in 2005 with a social ideal in the age of Globalization for the development of education. |
Due to the ambition and desire of the people in and around Kancheepuram, UPR group of educational institutions was established in 2008. One among them is a well established and fully equipped UPR Teacher Training Institute in Thulangumthandalam Village near Vellai Gate in Kancheepuram. In order to improve the educational level of the people around Kancheepuram our Trust has decided to start a B.Ed course in the name of UPR College of Education in 2009 and a Matriculation School in the name of UPR Academy in 2010 to maintain the high standards in education.
Considering the request of the public our educational Trust further decides to render its service to our nation by starting Technical Institutions for the human resource development.
